At the library you can:

  • Have a test proctored if you are taking college classes
  • Use the technologically advanced program room (computers, computer projector, screen, interactive white board, overhead projector, DVD player) and attend programs
  • Use the new color copier to copy or scan in a document and send it to your email – charges apply for copies, scanning is free
  • Read a magazine, newspaper, book or use a computer in one of the 8 recliners – we have increased the number of magazines offered and will have a listing and request form on our web page
  • View our art collection
  • Use your own laptop or one of ours at any table or chair in the library with the wifi
  • Use the tutoring room for private study or tutoring
  • Research a new career in our special Education and Career Resource Center
  • Do genealogy research on your family with our expanded collection
  • Use our newest microfilm equipment – a scanner that sends microfilm images to a computer to clean it up and print from our copier or send to your e-mail (LSTA grant)
  • Use a desktop computer
  • Use study table areas around the library and in the YA section
  • Watch your young child play educational games on our newest children’s computers (AWE grant)
  • Request a book from another library (ILL)
  • Use our display case
  • Have items delivered to you if you are homebound – Pony Express
  • Check out VHS and DVD’s as well as music CD’s and books on CD and Playaways
  • Recycle your newspapers and magazines
  • Recycle your old cell phones for our soldiers
  • Watch our landscaping take shape (hummingbird garden, red/white/blue around flag pole, yellow/orange around front sign, maybe a scent garden, native wildflowers around the building, etc.)
