We’re having a Valentine’s Day book sale on February 12th and 13th from 9:30am-5:00pm and 9:30am-3:00pm respectively.
This is to help raise funds for the Children’s Summer Reading Program 2010, so let’s hope for a good sale!

MusicFest Hero 2009!

We are announcing, on July 1st, 2009, that we are planning on hosting the second MusicFest Hero contest at the Linton Music Festival!
Scheduled for the first two days of the Linton Music Fest (September 4th, and 5th), the Linton Friends of the Library are planning to put on a Guitar Hero tournament. This event will be free for anyone to qualify, but there are only a limited number of spots for the contest. A maximum of 96 contestants will play (32 for each contest).

Unfortunately, the Linton Friends of the Library aren’t going to be able to host the contest this year. Please visit the Linton Music Fest page for more information about their contest.
