The Dewey Trail

At the Linton Public Library, this winter, we are traversing on the Dewey trail and exploring different areas along the trail. First stop, the 500’s, this is the land of science and math. We will read Survival at 40 Below by Debbie S. Miller. We will mosey along the Dewey trail stopping along the way to talk and learn more about each area. We will make a map of the Dewey trail. We will play Dewey Bingo and other games. There will be a special group of books to check-out and read at home and then come back and talk about the book. Remember to bring your library card. There will be snacks at each program. This program will be limited to 20 children. Each program will be after-school until 4:30 p.m. Please call the library, 847-7802 to sign-up or for more information, please ask for Ms. Phyllis.

Book Adventure Club

The Linton Public Library will begin its fall after-school program on September the 18th. The program will be 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Great stories, games, and crafts at each program. Refreshments will be served at each program. Children who arrive early may stay in the children’s area. Registration will begin September the 6th. Participation will be limited. The program will be every other Tuesday.
