The Linton Public Library will begin taking silent bids at noon, Friday, November 12th on donated, decorated chairs. Some will be located at the library and others will be in businesses around town. There will be a locator map on the Library’s website as well as ones printed out which can be picked up at the library. The bid sheets for all the chairs will only be at the Library circulation desk.
Anyone wishing to place a bid must do so there and must be an adult aged 18 or over, but may call in to check on the top bids. Funds from this auction will go toward the Library’s match for the USDA grant to purchase the remaining book shelving needed for the building.
Bidding will close promptly at 4:30pm on Friday, November 19. Phone calls notifying highest bidders will be placed after that.
